Immunization Pros & Cons

Immunization is a subject that evokes very strong opinions and usually stirs up heated debate as to their efficacy, safety, and reliability.  The main questions parents have to answer are whether to immunize or not, and if so, when and with which ones. It is vital that doctors educate their patients as to the pros and cons, indications and contraindications, and risks and benefits of vaccinations in order that the parents can then make an informed choice for their children.

Infant Formulas

The best nutrition for newborns and infants is breast milk.  However, there are situations that require formula feeding, and many babies respond poorly to cow’s milk. The following infant formula recipes have been created to meet babies’ nutritional requirements up to six months of age. In these formulations, soy milk is mentioned as a substitute for cow’s milk.  There are now many processing methods for soy that produce very different nutritional results.  Because there is little scientific information about the nutritional value of genetically modified (GMO) soy and because of the prevalence of soy allergies, we suggest you consider rice, almond, or oat milk if you encounter any problems with soy.

Introducing Solid Foods to Babies

It is best to introduce new foods to babies one food at a time, preferably one every two to four days, while observing for reactions such as sneezing, runny nose, rash around the mouth, anus, or urethra, a change in stool, or change in personality. Early in the introductory phase (up to the first year), most physicians suggest avoiding common allergens such as cow’s milk, wheat, oranges, eggs, and chocolate. Non-allergenic foods should be rotated every five to six days to minimize the sensitization which could occur when the same foods are eaten once or twice daily for 5-7 consecutive days.

Kombucha: The Mushroom Drink

Kombucha looks like a grayish solid material floating upon the tea mixture.  It has the texture of fresh abalone, or wet leather.  Together, the yeast, bacteria, and fungi produce a sparkling fermented drink that provides useful nutritional enzymes, organic acids, and vitamins to people who keep a culture of it growing.

Butter vs Margarine

For many years people have debated the merits of guns versus butter as symbols of spending on military might or domestic comfort.  Since 1869, another political debate has gone on, this one concerning the merits of margarine versus butter.  In that year, a French food chemist succeeded in making a cheap substitute for the real thing, which had become scarce and expensive in the wake of a European cattle plague.

Microchip Implants,

The first brain implants were surgically inserted in 1974 in the state of Ohio, USA and also in Stockholm, Sweden.  Brain electrodes were inserted into the skulls of babies in 1946 without the knowledge of their parents. In the 1950s and 60s, electrical implants were inserted into the brains of animals and humans, especially in the U.S., during research into behavior modification, and brain and body functioning. Mind control (MC) methods were used in attempts to change human behavior and attitudes. Influencing brain functions became an important goal of military and intelligence services.

MSG is Poison

In hundreds of studies around the world, scientists were creating obese mice and rats to use in diet or diabetes test studies.  No strain of rat or mice is naturally obese, so scientists have to create them.  They make these creatures morbidly obese by injecting them with MSG when they are first born.  The MSG triples the amount of insulin the pancreas creates, causing rats (and perhaps humans) to become obese.  They even have a name for the fat rodents they create:  “MSG-Treated Rats.”

Supersulfur: Applications & FAQs

Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) is a naturally occurring, sulfur-containing compound with multiple functions in the body.  MSM is naturally present in body fluids and tissues and is found in milk and a variety of fruits, vegetables, and grains in small amounts.  At low levels of ingestion, it functions as a normal dietary ingredient and assimilable source of essential dietary sulfur.  At higher levels, it functions as a pharmaceutically active agent which can be used safely and effectively for a variety of purposes.

Natural Bug Repellents

There are natural alternatives to DEET, made primarily from plant essential oils, that can protect you in less threatening circumstances.  Although “there is no natural repellent as effective as DEET,” says Eve McClure, executive vice-president of Quantum, a natural repellent manufacturer in Eugene, Oregon, “natural repellents do help ward off mosquitoes, black flies, gnats, and fleas, and they may provide some protection against ticks.”

Natural Elimination Allergy Treatment

The Natural Elimination of Allergy Treatment (NEAT) is one of the world’s most useful applications of Energy Medicine.  The body has an energy system that affects all of its other systems. This physical energy can be measured with electronic devices, and it obeys some of the physical laws of electricity.  Many therapies and procedures work on that energy system.

Osteoporosis Reversal

Present osteoporosis management emphasizes prevention rather than cure since true reversal has proven unobtainable by conventional methods.  With the hypothesis that progesterone is the missing ingredient for normal bone-building in women, transdermal progesterone supplementation (with or without estrogen) was tested in an office-based setting over a period of six years.

Probiotics for the 21st Century

Within every human being is a flourishing, living colony of approximately four pounds of bacteria. Most of these bacteria reside in the human digestive tract, although some are found elsewhere. Without a sufficient number of friendly bacteria known as probiotics, human life could not exist. When a human fails to maintain a sufficient number of good bacteria in the body, disease will occur and death will be likely to follow.

Treat Cardiovascular Damage with EDTA

The benefits in terms of cost and convenience of sublingual EDTA are significant. The standard protocol for certified IV chelation therapy consists of three sessions, each of which takes about three hours every week. This puts about 9 grams of EDTA into the bloodstream per week. A typical cardiovascular repair strategy is to have three sessions a week for 2-3 months. This costs between $260-320 USD and takes over 9 hours in your doctor’s office each week.  Even at that cost and fuss, this therapy is far safer and more affordable than most emergency heart operations.

Bee Venom Therapy Scientific Reference

Within the hippocampal formation from control subjects, apamin binding sites were highly concentrated in the subiculum and CAl.  In Alzheimer’s disease there was a marked and discrete loss of apamin binding sites in the subiculum.  This reduction of aparru’n binding sites in the subiculum correlated with cell density but not neuritic plaque density.  These results indicate that an anatomically discrete loss of Ca(2+)-dependent K+ channels within the hippocampal formation occurs in Alzheimer’s disease.

Russian Healthcare

This article describes a perspective of Russia obtained during my visit with a Russian friend during July 1993.  The trip was through Moscow, by plane to Rostov, then by train to Sochi on the Black Sea.  My friend and I visited sanitariums and spas and spoke with doctors and nurses about their healthcare system.  My language skills were such that I was fortunate to have my Russian friend along to help interpret.
